Sharing Mornings

Sharing Morning at Harpenden Academy

Sharing Mornings are held in the last week of each half term and are an opportunity for parents to come in to school from 8.30am-9.00am to look at the children’s books and to find out about their children’s learning over the half term. Parents also have the chance to discuss different aspects of learning with the class teacher and the TAs. These mornings allow the children to share their love of learning with their parents and also give the parents insight to the classroom environment.

Sharing Mornings are staggered throughout the week to allow parents of more than 1 child to devote time to each class as required.

The timetable for Sharing Mornings is:

The last Wednesday of each half term

Sharing morning 8.30-9.00am for

Reception & Year 6 only

The last Thursday of each half term

Sharing morning 8.30-9.00 for

Year 1, Year 1/2 and Year 2 only

The last Friday of each half term

Sharing morning 8.30-9.00 for

Year 3, Year 4 and Year 5 only
