Safeguarding your children

We aim to ensure that children who are vulnerable, at risk and have suffered or are likely to have suffer significant harm are identified, and appropriate action is taken to keep them safe.

Our policies reflect our vision both in terms of the staff we employ, the children in our care and the high priority that we place in relation to the safety of our site.

The school has and always will continue to develop a systematic approach towards identification and referral of suspected child abuse to an appropriate agency. We recognise that such abuse may be emotional, physical, sexual or through neglect.

Main Education Matters: Be healthy. Stay Safe.

Harpenden Academy Attendance Policy: The school subscribes to the Hertfordshire Attendance Service who will support HA in the event of persistent absences.
