Children have individual learning journals in Reception and in all year groups teachers record the children's progress, as well as take part in weekly reflection sessions with both teachers and peers. This ensures timely, accurate and meaningful assessment and target setting between teachers and pupils.
Our School Development Plan (SDP) details the many ways in which we measure our success, both academically and in terms of the social and emotional wellbeing of our children and staff. The SDP has five sections which measure our success in terms of pupil achievement and learning; staff and teaching; pupil and staff development, well being, safety and behaviour; leadership and management; and engagement with community. We have detailed success criteria under each of these headings and list the evidence we gather to prove our success.
