Year 5 Mini Police
Posted on 29/06/2018The Year 5 children have successfully completed their 6 week Mini Police project. They had their ‘passing out’ ceremony on Wednesday afternoon at Police Headquarters in Welwyn Garden Centre. This was attended by Lord Lieutenant of Hertfordshire Robert Voss CBE, the deputy Mayor of Harpenden Brian Ellis and Deputy Police and Crime Commissioner David Gibson.
The children’s behaviour was exemplary. Everyone present was very proud of them and their achievement.
Based on the success of this pilot scheme, the Mini Police project is now being rolled out to other schools in Hertfordshire. This really is a milestone moment for our children and Harpenden Academy. Well done Dahl class!
